Things I must buy

These days I am cooking dinner about 5 days a week. Mainly because my parents come home late when they get home, a ready hot meal for them to eat right away is what they need.

I usually cook jjigae. Every time is different depending on the type of ingredients there is available.
Jjigae is so versatile because you can cook it a hundred times and always have a slightly different taste. ^^

Or kimchi bokkum. It's basically samkyupsal (pork) and kimchi fried together. (no oil used at all) It's very good. :)

When I feel up to it, i sometimes make japanese rolled eggs. (tamagoyaki)
It's fun making those....

I don't know what it's called... but it looks like egg pudding. Except it's not pudding. It's spongy like bread. but then it's egg. I think in korean it's called gaeran(egg) JJim? I am probably wrong... But that is what I can make also...

I know the direction of making kimchi... but I never attempted to make some myself. I just helped my mom make it. haha! I also know how to do lots of other things but I never tried making it so it doesn't really count ^^; ;

I need to buy....

1. Apron
2. Korean Cook Book written in english (that has simple recipes... I can't make hard ones... and too lazy)
3. Maybe other country cook books. Like Thai? Last time I went with Eunice I thought it was good. But my mom doesn't like thai smells so maybe not... who knows. :)

I am better at chopping, but I am still a newb -0-

Maybe sometimes I'll take some pictures of it ahha

Things i want to try making...
1. mapo tofu (I saw this in a cartoon and it looked soo good :9)

If you guys have time watch "Le Grand Chef"
It's a korean movie. It's really good and fun. ^^ (it's on Veoh~)

I also watched "My 11th Mother"
Another good movie. I cried SOOO much.
my tears and snot were working on full power haha~
If you don't cry then you're a cold hearted human being :<
(hehe jk..)

Time.

You know, I'm always saying "I don't have time for this for that for blahblahblah"
But I decided that's just an excuse. It's not that I don't have time, it's I don't make the time to do it.

So my new goal for this month is to make time for everything I want to do

How to cry.

I've always wondered how those korean actresses always cry so well. It's so beyond amazing sometimes.
I know a majority of them use fake tears, but there ARE actresses/actors who can cry without fake tears. (like Leejunki! so amazing~)

This morning I figured out how to cry on purpose even if you don't really have a reason. You don't need onions either @_@. Just don't blink for a long time, then your eyes will start feeling dried out. Resist the feeling to blink! Then slowly tears will well up in your eyes. Then when you think enough water welled up in your eyes blink, then you will look like you're crying.

I found this out by accident this morning. It's weird. I was so fascinated and tried it three more times and it worked. >< I will probably never use this new skill, because it takes like a minute just standing there waiting for the tears ahha.

anyways byebye~

Weird Ideas

I was watching a Korean TV show, where they did studies on how to improve your intellegence (2nd part of sponge). There was a weird, yet probably fun and helpful idea.

It was doing studies about people who get frustrated easily, about the smallest things.
For example, when you come across an easy math problem, you find studying very easy.
But when it gets hard, it gets harder to keep making yourself study.

It was a way, to help lessen your anger and increase your patience... another good example would be, for people who play computer games, and when they can't seem to win anything. They would get frustrated and start throwing stuff around or yelling.

They said, when things like this happen, send a text message to yourself, whether is just.
"This game is really pissing me off, because I keep losing!" .... "If I try harder I know I can do it!"
Or something like that, and do short meditation exercises. And keep a journal, and write down everything that made you angry that day.

In the end, the results showed, that everyone's IQ was raised, and their patience rose. Some commented how, now, if I can't do something, I dont' get angry, but just think that I'll try again or think about only the fun side of things.

It's interesting....

From my own experiences of being angry, when I screamed, punched, cried when I was angry. I always felt angrier afterwards. And it was just a circle. So now, when I'm angry, I try to stay calmn... listen to music... think of how the other person is feeling. And don't say anything until I'm not angry again.

It works pretty well...

Anyways bye.
