| I was watching a Korean TV show, where they did studies on how to improve your intellegence (2nd part of sponge). There was a weird, yet probably fun and helpful idea. It was doing studies about people who get frustrated easily, about the smallest things. For example, when you come across an easy math problem, you find studying very easy. But when it gets hard, it gets harder to keep making yourself study. It was a way, to help lessen your anger and increase your patience... another good example would be, for people who play computer games, and when they can't seem to win anything. They would get frustrated and start throwing stuff around or yelling. They said, when things like this happen, send a text message to yourself, whether is just. "This game is really pissing me off, because I keep losing!" .... "If I try harder I know I can do it!" Or something like that, and do short meditation exercises. And keep a journal, and write down everything that made you angry that day.
In the end, the results showed, that everyone's IQ was raised, and their patience rose. Some commented how, now, if I can't do something, I dont' get angry, but just think that I'll try again or think about only the fun side of things. It's interesting.... From my own experiences of being angry, when I screamed, punched, cried when I was angry. I always felt angrier afterwards. And it was just a circle. So now, when I'm angry, I try to stay calmn... listen to music... think of how the other person is feeling. And don't say anything until I'm not angry again. It works pretty well... Anyways bye. |
